UNITS Community Involvement
Container donations by UNITS Portable Storage of Orange County, have provided much needed storage for charitable projects and food drives. As a locally owned business servicing Orange County, we are aware of our responsibility to be a part of our community and to partner with charitable organizations serving the needs of families in our area. We are proud to have donated our UNITS to a number of important projects in Orange County over the past year.
Habitat for Heroes & Furnishing Hope Habitat for Humanity recently completed construction of 18 homes as part of their Habitat for Heroes and Foundations for Families project. The development is the first such affordable housing community marketed to military personnel and veterans in the state. Furnishing Hope of Orange County organized the effort to decorate and furnish these homes for the families. Needless to say, gathering donations of furniture and decorations to furnish 18 homes is no small task. UNITS is proud to have donated six containers to store and transport the furnishing to the homes where volunteers unpacked the Units and moved the items into the home.

Food Drives Plaza Vista School in Irvine was given a container to store food donations for their annual food drive. UNITS then picked up the container from the school and delivered it to Families Forward in Irvine, a organization that provides food to low income families and the homeless in Orange County. A similar arrangement was made to accommodate the food drive at Castillo Elementary School in Mission Viejo with the food delivered to St Kilian Catholic Church. UNITS has also donated storage containers to Families Forward and South County Outreach during the holiday season to provide storage for donated food supplies when their warehouses are unable to handle the extra donations.

Toy Drive UNITS is proud to support the annual toy drive conducted in Irvine for the families of the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division. Units provided a container which was loaded in Irvine with the donated toys and transported to Camp Pendleton for the annual holiday party for over 800 Marines and family members.
